better than expected
The book came promptly as described plus more, the book was in great shape, box a little banged up, but I expected more wear and tear for a used item, price very nice, thanks for the quick response.

Oxford English Dictionary was bought used and we received it in excellent condition and very timely manner before Christmas.
Valuable Tool
It is necessary when reading to be able to comprehend the ideas being put forth by the writer of the material you are reading. I have found that the Oxford English Dictionary has been a valuable tool for my understanding of much of the material I have been reading both for recreation and for business. As these volumes are not easly accessed at commercial stores. It was a great delight to discover I could purchase them online at Amazon.com.
It was very convenient and easy to purchase them and have them delivered to my home in a short period of time.

I think I am in love. This is a beautiful compliation from the twenty odd volume set!! with a cd rom a pronunciation key and use in historic context. True love with words and language, and a great teacher.
Superb dictionary
The shorter OED was a gift for my husband, and he thinks it is extremely...I'll have to ask him to come up with a word meaning really, really good.
