Average Customer Rating:

Editorial Reviews:

In this case study, author Tony Loton looks at the Visual Studio .NET/Visio for Enterprise Architects integration features that allow you to generate code for any .NET language from a UML model in Visio. For .NET designer--developers running with the enterprise version of Visual Studio, this out--of--the--box solution could be a more rational choice than shelling out for an additional CASE tool.

Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars Where's the support files?

This did contain some good information on getting started with Visio for Enterprise Architect, but is WAY overpriced for what you get. The 26 page book refers to a Visio model, and provides a link to it on csharptoday.com. The problem here is that csharptoday.com seems to have disappeared! This obviously makes it less than useful when trying to duplicate the author's steps...

2 out of 5 stars Good text, bad pricing

I agree with other reviewers. 26 pages of valuable contents, yet 20 dollars is alittle bit too much...
The same author's outcoming Wrox book on the same topics will go for only 41 bucks and its 368 pages. I'll sure buy that with less regret.

2 out of 5 stars good but very expensive at $20,should have been $5-$10

... The article is good(4 stars for that) and shows with clear diagrams and snapshots on how one can use UML/visio and generate .net code using vs.net enterprise architect ... The 2 stars is really beacuse of that unjustifiable price tag
