Excellent book!
I think every professional in health care should own this book. The information is comprehensive but easy to understand, the charts are beautifully illustrated, and this edition contains quite a few useful things the first and second didn't. Keep it in the office or on your coffee table. Either way, it's both interesting and educational!
Great explaination of diseases in the visual
I first saw this book at my dentist's office and knew it would be a great addition to my layman's library. It's very clear and instructive so anyone can read, learn and create a better knowledge of their own body and the possible diseases. It's well printed and bound and sturdy for lots of use.
Great for the classroom!
This book has great visuals to show the students about different areas of the human body. A must have!

A little gruesome appearance on the coffee table, but otherwise, informative and understandable. I've see this or something similar in doctors' offices and wanted my own. Discovered it was available to the public at a recent visit to the "Bodies" exibit. I'm pleased and my family is also.
Decent charts
I was happy with the detail of the charts but overall I did not feel as though the book was complete. It was a fairly brief overview of *some* diseases and disorders. I suppose if you are not expecting better than you will not be disappointed.
