Best Activity Book
I bought this book recently during the snow storms here on the East coast to entertain my 18 month old. It is truly a great book! Most of the art projects are using items that you have around the house or outside, so it is easy to whip things up quickly. It is broken up into sections so it is easy to find an activity you would want to do. Love the play dough recipes! I have brought this book into my daughters daycare and they have used some ideas as well. I love that most everything is home made, which helps save some money since it is almost 3 times the cost in the store.
Great Purchase
My daughter and I have enjoyed this book very much. The art projects are easy and fun. There are various different recipes for making your own fun. A must have for any stay at home mom.
Easy, inexpensive fun!
Like any mom, I have days where I cannot for the life of me think of something new and interesting to do with my toddler. Always wanting to stimulate her growing mind in a playful way, I picked up this book. It has been a lifesaver for us! We have had so much fun with this book!
Not only are the ideas in here lots of fun for the two of us, but they are also inexpensive and easy enough to do at home. They don't take a lot of supplies, and the books gives lots of variations to try with each 'recipe'. I love that I am able to make doughs and paints for my little girl to play with, just using items found around our house. The recipes have always been spot on as well. Not once have we mixed something up and thought it didnt turn out right.
I highly recommend this book to anyone with a toddler, that is looking for more activities. Its great fun, written well, easy to use, and it lets your toddler begin to explore art! (as well as the world around them) I plan on picking up more of the authors books as my daughter gets older!
Great ideas
I love this book. I was looking for new things to try with my 2 year old and this book is perfect. There are a lot of things that were completely new to me (which is what I was looking for). My son loves all the different textures and most are super easy setup/clean up. I would give this as a gift to all toddler's parents.
