This Introduction to Jesus was originally written in Greek by Luke, a physician and non-Jewish (Gentile) member of the early Church. It was translated into English in 1611 as "The Gospel According To St. Luke" in the King James Bible(KJV). The vocabulary was updated slightly to conform to modern usage in the King James Bible Clarified New Testament, consulting Noah Webster's 1833 list of outdated words, by Rev. Bill McGinnis, Editor, in 1998.
