NASB LIFE APPLICATION STUDY BIBLE
I was given the job of purchaseing 4 identical bibles for the graduation seniors from our church. With one christian book store and two chain stores in our town I was unable to find 4 alike! I am very new to "on-line" and had never made a purchase. What a great expierence!!! I found 4 just alike, got them here ON TIME and the purchase price with shipping was less than I would have paid IF I could have found them locally. THANKS
Study Bible
The NASB Life Application Study Bible was listed as new condition and was exactly that. This was a gift and the recipient was very pleased, and I was also. The leather cover was beautiful and the text was very readable. I prefer this Study Bible to all others I have used, and feel confident the owner will also enjoy the many features it offers. I love the history blended with the theological explanations of the text. I especially like the biographies for many of the people throughout scripture and how their lives are viewed in terms of God's plan.
The application Bible
This Bible is great. Exactly what I was looking for. I needed a study bible that started out slowly and that is what this does. It goes into enough detail, but not to much. I like the way it has time lines for things and people. As I said, it is exactly what I wanted.
Wanted "Real Leather"
How can you not give the Bible a five star review? I really liked the Bible as a whole, but was disappointed to get it and find that it was not "real" leather. The product info said "Leather Bound", but when I received it in the mail and unwraped it, it was "Bonded Leather". I simply returned it for a full refund and was on my way. Amazon.com was very quick with the refund and the whole transaction went very smoothly.
A contemporary study Bible
The Life Application Study Bible, NASBA is a good contemporary study Bible for the casual Bible student. Filled with insightful backround and historical information with plenty of easy to read comments on the text. The editors are apparently followers of Reformed Theology as there are hints of Calvinist doctrine in many of the comments.
One word of caution about this edition. The print is somewhat light and definitly small. Older eyes may find it a bit difficult to read.
