Good for younger children
This book had been recommended to me for my 14 year-old-son, who seems to get down often. I found this book to be geared towards a younger person that a teen, but it was a good conversation starter for us. The book was received in great condition and in a timely manner.
Great analogy to explain common thinking errors to children and adults.
This book has been very helpful in teaching students at my school and in my private practice how to deal with negative thought patterns. I would recommend it to anyone as an effective problem solving step.
Too Little Information
This book was disappointingly thin on information and way over priced. It's not worth $19.95; maybe $4.95.
Great tool!
Great tool for working with children in a therapuetic setting. The children and families I work with really used the information about Automatic Negative Thoughts (ANT's).
Great book for every age.
This book was originally purchased for our teenage daughter, but the whole family of any age can benefit
from it. I strongly recommend it. It is very helpful for people who have many negative thought patterns
that they feel they cannot break.
