The best
Rapid Review is a must have. Goljan's notes cover the pathology, as well as associated physiology and pharmacology (some). If you don't have this book you're missing out.

I used this book to prepare for USMLE step1 & I can say with great confidence after I compared it with many other Pathology book, it's a must , if u want to score in the 90s.
Goljan = Hero
Dr. Goljan is incredible. This book has great images that are helpful in random path diagnoses. Very high yield. Very easy to read. Tables/outline form. Also check out his audio lectures.
Unbeatable Pathology review...IF you give yourself the time.
My pathology course was taught by the guys who WROTE BRS (the major competitor for this book), so my entire path knowledge come February was just excerpts from BRS. Not nearly enough to do well. Around March I obtained the Goljan lectures that have been heavily torrented online. These lectures were FANTASTIC and explained things in detail so I could understand the pathology and underlying mechanisms, explained diagnostic techniques, and even discussed treatments. He also tied things into physiology, pharmacology and biochemistry, so I felt like my understanding was truly integrated. Keep in mind the lectures, though fantastic, did not encompass the entire scope of the course. This made me decide to purchase the book, and with time being short, just paid the high markup at my school bookstore to have it immediately.
To keep it short, his book was more of the same goodness I had already experienced. However, he clearly had more information, very good images and access to a question bank online. While there were some bugs with the delivery system, the questions were very good. I now had a much better grasp of the underlying causes and mechanisms of disease rather than memorizing bullet points, and saw conditions I had not even heard of before. Having taken the time to read much of the book, I felt better prepared to take the Step 1, and ended up with a 241. Next to First Aid and a good QBank, I think this book is a must-have for those serious about scoring highly.
RR PATHOLOGY is the way to go...
This book cover the essential material that you need for the boards with many images. I liked this book a lot and I highly recommended to review this topic.
