The Unabridge Version is Wonderful
My wife and I were enchanted by this book on tape when we first listened to it. When the John Adams series came out on cable TV, my wife decided to listen to it again and was really disappointed. As it turned out, the library's copy was abridged.
I purchased an unabridged copy and we have again enjoyed it. It is not necessary to listen to the previous book in the series "Rise to Rebellion." but that is also worth hearing. This book on tape is a favorite of my wife and myself.
