Great Content, Poor Binding!
I love the content of this encyclopedia. The pictures and illustrations are beautiful. However, the book started to fall apart just after two weeks of modest use. The poor binding makes what could have been an excellent reference book a last choice. I found out that many of the Usborne encyclopedias for upper elementary grades are published in soft cover with cheap binding. I don't understand why Usborne would publish reference books without the consideration of durability.
Geography book review
I have enjoyed this book very much. It has a wealth of information and if you are interested in a given area it has links to look further. Very good source.
