Excellent Info 4 All
A must read for anybody who questions the government's explanation of the 911 tragedy. Well written, and backed up by impeccable research.
Entertaining and far fetched...
This book brings up some good points, and points out inconsistancies in the "official" story, but it also has tons of speculative and far fetched ideas about "the Establishment". That was the part I found entertaining. It killed some time and kept me interested only long enough to clear my head and think for myself again. Read this for the entertainment value and not as the Gospel truth. Nice try Mr. Marrs...
COMPREHENSIVE, DETAILED, AND VERY READABLE
This is an excellent book for the beginning "thinker" who is just now waking up to what's going on in the American Empire. Jim Marrs knew from day one that the 9/11 attacks were just another "false flag" terror event orchestrated by the secret societies who control Washington. He details all the phases, all the elements, all the areas of suspicion enroute to tying it all together with a historical context in the final part of the book. My favorite part of the book is near the end where the discussion turns to why a power like the US needs an enemy, "...such enemies are necessary to convince an otherwise peaceful population on the need for wars and foreign expeditions. It's all part of a formula that has proven quite successful down through the centuries. Create a boogeyman enemy to keep the public distracted but focused, then play both ends against the middle to maintain profits and control". When the US's first boogeyman, the Soviet Union, fell in 1991, the American Empire was left without an enemy. Enter...Osama bin Laden, the Lex Luther who can orchestrate devastating attacks on the world's only superpower from a cave half way around the world...OH MY!!! The only fault I can find with this book is that it fails to explain that the whole boogeyman idea is sold to the American public by use of George Orwell's DOUBLETHINK. For the unbelievable relevance of Orwell on 9/11, as well as many other "suspicious" events of the past several years, see Don't Weep for Me, America: How Democracy in America Became the Prince (While We Slept)
Mysteries Magazine review
Jim Marrs is an investigative reporter who specializes in conspiracies. The Terror Conspiracy summarizes many of the suspicions about the U.S. government that have been around almost since 9/11 occurred, such as what did the Bush administration know and when, what actually happened at the Pentagon and at the World Trade Center, and what really happened to Flight 93. He also describes the Bush family involvement with the Saudi royal family. But for Marrs, the real conspiracy involves a government control agenda that goes back to 1947.
The Terror Conspiracy is made up of four parts. The first is a lengthy section on the events of September 11, 2001, that highlight inconsistencies with the version of events promoted by the government and the media. The second discusses how oil, drugs, and war drives American policies and interests. The third deals with the loss of liberty at home after 9/11 via the Patriot Act, Big-Brother-like use of technology, and anti-democratic government secrecy. Finally, a section on historical precedents traces a pattern from Pearl Harbor to the Gulf War, the complicity of the news media, and bungled intelligence that spells out the larger conspiracy of control and vast economic profits realized through fear and intimidation.
Marrs writes from a libertarian bent, suspicious of everything the government does, seeing insidious intent behind something as seemingly transparent as issuing Social Security ID numbers. Sometimes the connections seems spurious and the argument rambling, but buried in Marrs' wide-ranging speculations is his contention that the U.S. military was responsible for the destruction of the Pentagon and the World Trade Center.
Despite suggesting too much by way of government foreknowledge--and "real" motives focused on power and greed--The Terror Conspiracy is a thought-provoking look at American foreign and domestic policies since World War II. A loosely organized argument that loses its way again and again, Marrs' premise still should cause any thinking citizen to reconsider where the country is going and how we have gotten to where we are.

The Terror Is The Conspiracy!!!
Jim Marrs' book is a great installment for anyone still interested in the 9/11-truth movement. Marrs manages to gather a plethora of evidence from news sources, books, media, Internet, and documentation, which points directly to the culprits that should have been charged for committing the 9/11 atrocities in the first place.
Marrs' book seems to read like an amalgamation of Seymour Hersh's "Chain of Command" and Webster Griffen Tarpley's "911 Synthetic Terror." Both arguments that Tarpley and Hersh formulate are present here.
"The Terror Conspiracy" gives rise to questions that many of us have been waiting patiently for answers to since 9/11.
For example:
1:Was the 9/11 Commission Report a whitewash?
2:Were there explosives in the World Trade Center complex, and was that the reason why the buildings imploded?...Evidence points in that direction.
3:Did Flight 77 crash into the Pentagon?...Evidence shows that it did not crash into the Pentagon. So, then where is the plane?
4:Are members of the Council on Foreign Relations involved?
5:Did Congress and the Senate commit treason by signing the USA Patriot Act into law?
6:Were Zionist involved?
7:Who really did it? And who benefited?
8:Did Arab terrorist act alone?...Evidence shows they did not.
There are hundreds of question in this book that Marrs attempts to answer. Marrs even demonstrates that the government has been terrorizing the American people for decades, and what transpired on 9/11 is nothing new, we just think it is.
If you are new to the 9/11-truth movement then I highly recommend you read this book, but if you're already an expert...sorry to say, but Marrs doesn't offer anything new to the discourse.
A must read for the novice truther!
9/11 was an inside job!!!
