Editorial Reviews:

The exploration into the truth of man's activities is unique, intriguing, and provocative. From a new perspective, one quickly grasps the levels of truth expressed by the media, the arts, writers, painters, architecture, movies, TV, politics, and war, as well as academia and the greatest thinkers and philosophies through the ages and up to present-day science and advanced theories of the nature of the universe. Most importantly, the ego and its structure are revealed to facilitate the understanding of religious and spiritual truths expressed by the mystics and enlightened sages over the centuries. It becomes apparent why the human mind, unaided, has been intrinsically incapable of discerning truth from falsehood. A simple test is described that, in seconds, can solve riddles that have been irresolvable by mankind for centuries. This book delivers far more than it promises.

5 out of 5 stars A lot of ego's will be kicking and screaming

It seems that most people that do not agree with this book are ideologs, specifically liberals. I am not on here to blast liberalism and support conservativism, i try to stay away from politics. I don't believe Hawkins supports conservativism just because it calibrates in the 400's and disagrees with libaralism (cal. 200-300's). He actually says to do what ever calibrates over 200. Conservatism is based on logic and reason, and most liberal views are based on emotions. This makes sense given the calibrations of each ideology. If you are a truth seeker, then you will just accept the calibrations and move on. I know this is the last thing the ego is willing to accept. Once you transcend the ego, all of these numbers will not matter to you any way.

5 out of 5 stars A most important read for our time!

I'm a fan of Dr. Hawkins previous works, including video/audio works, but took a chance on this one, even though it had some negative reviews. I believe this is one of his most important works and one of the most important books in our society today. Dr. Hawkins reviews a significant amount of practical aspects of day-to-day living and helps shine the light of consciousness on these important daily living areas. I believe, having worked through the book, I understand why some of the reviews are a bit negative because some of the conscious calibrations are "higher" for some potential controversial topics...my understanding is that Dr. Hawkins is not attempting to say, "this is good and that is bad"...but if you view this is his intent you may get a bit defensive. I found his book helpful, open, and very meaningful for me.

3 out of 5 stars Helpful book, but not the way Dr. Hawkins may have intended.

I've read most of Dr. Hawkins' books and recommend them highly. The trilogy of "Power vs Force", "The Eye of the I", and "I" are enormously valuable.

This book shouldn't be missed either because it presents us with such a vast amount of kinesiological data. With such a wealth of material, any flaws in this system are almost certain to pop up, and so they do. After reading this book it will be very hard to maintain a blind trust in the results of muscle testing. Perhaps that's what Dr. Hawkins intended (whether he realized it consciously or not)?

Dr. Hawkins' books are still extremely valuable reading, even if the muscle testing technique has been shown in this book to be less than 100% dependable. Maybe this book is telling us that Dr. Hawkins' technique still needs further refinement?

It is, at least, obvious that personal bias colors the results. And knowing a little bit about a subject under testing (such as U.S. politics) is demonstrably worse than knowing nothing at all.

5 out of 5 stars This is a Must read !!

I wish every religious, spiritual, and political person would read this. Not only is the True real, it's verifiable. Thank you David Hawhins.

5 out of 5 stars Some descrepencies between vol.

Let me be clear of the fact that while I may offer some criticisms of Dr Hawkins, by no means am recomending against reading him. I'm certainly not going to stop buying his brilliantly written books. He offers an expanded world view not seen in today's publication dribble.

There are some inconsistencies between volumes of his books.

Power vs. Force/ Truth vs. Falsehood
Zohar 730 pp.274/ 905 pp 367

Enlightenment 700 pp 93/ 600 pp 416

Kabbalah 720 pp 274 / 605 pp 366

Koran 720 pp 274 / 700 pp366

Torah 770 pp 274 / 550 pp367

Further, he states that animals level of consciousness advances by 5-10 pts. By being in the proximity of humans. But later in another place he states that human consciousness is fixed at birth.

Israel calibrates at 190 and Palestine at 185. Same place different name depending on your loyalty to Islam.

Dr. Hawkins has a very classy cover design. His sentence structure is highly developed. His premise is interesting, is it true, I don't know. But I do know that despite what seems to be numerous discrepancies, I still enjoy reading his work. People know that Santa isn't real but they still go to the movies every Christmas. Which I don't recall seeing ranked in his Truth vs Falsehood. Perhaps the low ranking would effect book sales I suspect.
