5 out of 5 stars BEAUTIFUL!

This is a beautiful book!

Denny Johnson offers powerful original insights about structural patterns in the iris and how they relate to human behavior.

If your interest in looking into eyes is for the purpose of diagnosing or suggesting medical or physiologic conditions, look elsewhere. However, for anyone interested in understanding how patterns in the fibers of the iris correspond with personality traits, communication styles, and relationship patterns, this book is strongly recommended!

2 out of 5 stars Incredible book for iridology pictures! Too stuck on emotional stuff! :(

This book is really WONDERFUL if you are learning Iridology and need some pictures to view, in fact the pictures chaven't been rivaled by anyone as of yet (unless you are looking at the eyes through a scope at the eye structures!)

The problem I have with it (as Dr. Bernard Jensen warned about before he passed)is reading too much emotional crap into a person.

I took a few classes with Dr. Pesek, and he openly admitted that Dr. Jensen had warned him about going too far with emotional BS (when someone could in fact have a serious disease process going on or the other way around, and need a *real* professional medical doctor to treat them. I strongly feel this books simply goes too far. If you are going into iridology, I'd STRONGLY warn against getting caught up in classes that emphasize emotional "diagnosis" or "readings" of the eyes.

This book (And especially the class I took) reminds me of when they'd send kids to a shrinks in the 1970's, for asthma, when in fact they were having somtimes extreme and even life-threatening allergic reactions. While iridology MAY be able to counsil someone, I'd be VERY wary of the psychobabble readings, as the research simply doesn't support the so-called "diagnosis, thus perhaps contributing the "bad name" to the so-called "Alternative Medical Practices."

I'd STRONGLY reccommend perhaps using this book WITH a Jensen's Guide (Prolly available on Amazon! - and hopefully the foundation will, if they haven't already, get back onto reprinting Bernard Jensen's works, which are by FAR better documented, and the psychobabble is missing from a good, sound diagnosis.) These psychology-based "readings" diagnosises, etc. have been pushed through FAR to quickly and without any *real* scientific evidence (that's statistically plausable) to make ANY determinations. Sure there may be a *few* studies in this direction, however the studies are small, not well documented, and leave out entirely medical evidence that there aren't physical things going on.

As someone who's worked on research in this field, I can say that not only do I think the psychology aspects are often wrong and the studies have problems that go on and on, but teaching from books like these (and others that push psychology) is opening doors for the natural health care providers and the industry as a whole to be pointed at as "quackery" all over again, and I strongly believe those who are practicing it this way need to do one *heck* of a lot more homework before the even begin to publish things in that area that are obviously not well reseasrched, and info is being found in new studies that absolutely refute what was thought even a year ago!

If you want great pictures to work with, ths is great, but I'd stick to Bernard Jensen's works for the well documented and well researched info to get your basis before heading off into research land! It also helps to have an MD,OD or at least a DC do labs (&/or kinesiology) to either dispute or cooberate the findings. Classes that take this route are a waste of time (unless you are doing a research project o the subject.)

I've seen someone who claims to be an "iridologist" put a "potential emotional problem" and label this person when in fact this person had some serious medcial problems. The psychological stuff reminds me of those so-called "mind-readers" on TV who ask a TON of questions, and when they eventually they get it right. When you are diagnosing, or medically "suggesting" (since Dx is not legal in some states) what to do with a person and you think it's an emotional thing, when in fact they have a heart problem, you could be held on manslaughter or 2nd degree murder if the person dies.

Get Jensen's books!!!

5 out of 5 stars Remarkable Discovery,

Remarkable, Astounding, Incredible are the only words that apply to this form of human understanding!

The Rayid Method and its author Denny Johnson, will be recognized as the Carl Jung of our age. His insights into human understanding with not only the Rayid Iris Interpretation but Rayid Grandparents, and Rayid Birth Order demand attention, by anyone who wishes to improve relationships, enhance parenting, and essentially live life to the fullest.

The Rayid Method of Iris Interpretation, and its perfect illustration of communication styles, makes "eyeTalk, Bridging from Communication to Connection!" the communication tool that it is!

Without reservation, I encourage you to purchase this book!

John
