don't make the mistake of ordering this book
This is a great book, unfortunately I thought I was ordering 2008, so it was useless to me. And costly, as it cost me money to return it .
Fun Sun Sign Planetary Guide with Bonus!
I really enjoy this guide. This is the second year I have bought this duo's guide. I have found that these guys can shut even my most skeptical friends right up! Most of the time I use the book as a retrospective. I read the months past to see if what they predicted had actually happened. There have been times I have looked back on previous month's passages and found them to so accurate I couldn't believe it! I don't use it to help me make major decisions, nor do I live by their every direction, but I do find it very entertaining to read what has or may come into life according to where the stars were when I was born. I also enjoy the bonus currency you earn towards their website goodies, with your book purchase. I will buy the 2008 edition, for sure! Enjoy!
Good stuff
I've been following the Jawer/Levine work for many years via their web site, StarIQ, and was already convinced of their prowess. So when their year-ahead guide first hit the shelves in 2006, I was on board. I had been using Susan Miller's year-ahead guide as the definitive one, but then she switched to generating calendars...now I use the Jawer/Levine Astrology Guide for the year in addition to Susan Miller's wall calendar. I have not been disappointed.
These guys know their stuff. Granted, if you're used to Susan Miller there will be an interpretation curve to deal with, but the information is no less well put together. I strongly recommend this year-ahead guide above all others.
It's not Susan Miller
The book is OK, I have been buying Susan Miller's but she hasn't put one together for a couple of years now. It's just not as in depth. I did not think that it was worth the rating that others gave it. I didn't see much about traveling times good or bad, etc ... It was a different book, kind of disappointed.
Highly recommended
The authors are considered among the best in the astrology biz. Although they excel in the astrological/technical side of things, their writing is most appealing because the layperson can understand it, and especially because their humor and down-to-earth attitudes make it a joy to read! What a fun way to learn. If you ever get a chance to see them in person (lectures, performances, conferences, etc.), please do so -- totally engaging. If you want to be absolutely amazed with a personal horoscope reading that can offer you the opportunity to see and transform your own life in positive ways, try a reading from either Jeff or Rick. I was blown away with the accuracy and very encouraged with the opportunities described in my own chart reading. Believe in "free will"? If you hear it's going to rain, you can choose to take an umbrella. These guys are my first choice for the astro weather report.
